My Bike
I wanted to give anyone reading my blog an idea of the apps, tools and resources I’ve started using to pedal healthy.

On this page will be my current bike, I’ll have a separate page for the apps I’m using to help me Pedal Healthy.
Well obviously we might as-well start with my current and only bike and here she is…

Why buy a Boardman?
Well let’s be honest I had absolutely no idea what I was doing when I purchased it, but I did two things…
- Spoke to a friend I trust that rides bikes
- Found a salesperson that I had a connection with and trusted also

Mistakes when buying a bike
Some mistakes I made straight away…
- Replacing the bike seat. There was no need. I’ve now discovered bigger spongier seats are not necessarily comfier.
- Mud guards. Seriously on my first ride they were left on a tree stump for the next cyclist to have. Those big bulky ones are a real pain in the ass.
- Doing no research. Why didn’t I take my time and research where I’d be riding, what type of terrain, how often etc etc.
